Not sure what I was thinking with this one.
Approximately nine and a half inches tall (bird). Hand built with colored stoneware clays and fired to 2300ºF. No molds were used. The artificial pear floats on a piece of musical wire.

Avissa: Well, a bird in itself, walking upright and using wings as hands represents the silliness in humanity ... you know, feathers and a beak. The cigar represents indulgence and the pear on a stick being held as one would like an umbrella shows how futile and silly it is to try to shield from bad things ... a pear protecting one from rain
